About 2 hours or so from London, the Cotswold is an area of breathtaking natural beauty with picture perfect landscapes. It’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. As one of the most popular countryside destinations, you will find Old English Manors such as the Wood Norton, tiny hamlets, towns and rolling hills.

Stonehenge

Possibly one of the most famous accident sites in England, Stonehenge is a spot on everyone’s bucket list. Be aware that Stonehenge is a very popular spot so if you’re not feeling too safe in crowds just yet, it’s best to plan your visit for more off peak times; which is either first thing in the morning or late afternoon.

This mysterious and pre-historic sounding 95 mile coastline starts in Exmouth, East Devon and stretches to Swanage, Dorset. One very exciting activity that you can do is fossil hunting on the UNESCO protected coastline (living up to its name!). Due to the eroding cliffs, a range of fossils can be found along the beach.

Don’t forget to visit the famous Durdle Door and Old Harry’s Rock whilst you’re there and enjoy a bite to eat at some fantastic local cafés and restaurants.

So if you’re longing for your tropical getaway, book your flight over to this outstandingly beautiful and uncrowded hidden gem.
